Driven precast concrete piles are a cost-effective option suitable for housing, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. Our in-house engineers design in varying segmental lengths to meet each project’s specific required depths, minimising waste and saving costs.
Taranto’s precast concrete pile sizes range from 200mm2 to 350mm2, manufactured in a variety of segmental lengths. Our standard reinforced pile is a compression pile with moderate tensile and bending capacities, accredited with CE marking. For greater load capacities we use our fully reinforced 275/300/350mm2 precast pile complete with a fully mechanical joint.
Piles are driven into the ground using a top driven hydraulic hammer. Driven precast piling generates no site spoil as they move the ground beneath the surface, reducing site traffic, waste and costs.
Taranto operate a fleet of purpose-built rigs, enabling our operations team to deploy the most efficient rigs suitable for specific site conditions.
